Dr. Jessica Gorgo graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology & then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her psychiatry residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, a member of the Mount Sinai Health System.
In addition to her private clinical practice, Dr. Jessica Gorgo is a longtime community psychiatrist treating chronically mentally ill patients at outpatient clinics, nursing homes and inpatient hospitals in North Jersey. She also works as an attending physician in psychiatric emergency rooms with admitting privileges at Mount Sinai West Hospital & Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital.
In her spare time, Dr. Gorgo enjoys spending time with her three children and her husband, Doug, also a fellow physician. The family enjoys various outdoor activities like horseback riding, swimming at the beach, fishing, hiking & skiing. When not outdoors, they’re currently teaching the kids how to cook and preparing for a new Boston Terrier puppy.
